Launched in 2007 by Toronto designer Amy Grisé, Shiny Bits are wearable pieces that attract attention. "Simple", "sophisticated", "bold yet light" are all terms that have been used to describe the Bits by their many fans. The variety of sterling silver and silver plate designs make Shiny Bits both style and budget friendly. Shiny jewellery has made its way to countries worldwide, and to artisan shows across Southern Ontario.
If you love one of our Bits but would prefer a different length or a variation, just let us know! Custom jewellery is always available upon request. Silver plated pieces by Shiny Bits are all nickel free to avoid contact allergies.

The 19" rolo chain has a circle on one end, and a smooth clear natural quartz drop on the other. Slide the quartz through the circle, and a glowing lariat is formed. Loop it more than once for a secure hold.

Light and airy... but so much impact!
Worn long, Olympia is 36" of chain and delicate 30 and 40mm circles. Doubled up, Olympia naturally falls into a set of silvery circles that will definitely be noticed. When two Olympias are layered, it's even more fabulous!

Both sterling and silver plated jewellery can become dull and tarnished from exposure to air and even from the lotions and oils on your skin. When not in use, try to store silver in sealed baggies or in a tarnish resistant bag or box.
When it's time to clean, it's best to avoid harsh chemicals and dips. More delicate silver plated items can be destroyed, while the shine of sterling can be diminished over time.
A polishing cloth can be used on flat or easily accessible surfaces. Alternatively, simply wash the piece in warm water and dishsoap, and rub dry with a soft cloth. The Bits will be Shiny again!
